The Utah Marine Aquarium Society (UTMAS) is a friendly group of individuals that love the saltwater aquarium hobby and wish to share their experiences and help each other learn and thrive in the hobby. We accomplish this not only by sharing through this web site and user forum, but also through regularly scheduled meetings, events, and other activities.

Our Mission

The mission of UTMAS is simple:
To provide the structure, support and camaraderie for Utah marine aquarium enthusiasts so that together they can learn, enjoy, and get the most out of the hobby.

Our Promise

UTMAS is a non-profit organization with its only goal that which is stated in our mission. All that we do must clearly support that goal. Additionally, members and leadership alike are responsible to act ethically and civilly. To that end, the direction of the club will be entirely steered by the membership through a fairly elected, representative leadership. There will be an unprecedented level of openness and transparency in every aspect of the club governance. All content, ad/sponsor revenue and donations, event revenues, and UTMAS web sites belong to UTMAS. This means they belong to the members.
